Army Improves Win Streak to Two

WEST POINT, N.Y.- The Army West Point men's tennis team defeated NJIT 5-2 in their first match of the weekend Saturday afternoon at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center, handing the Highlanders their first loss of the season.
The Black Knights now improve to 4-7 overall, while NJIT falls to 4-1 on the season.
Juniors David Mitchell and Grant Patterson clinched the doubles point for the Cadets with a 6-1 victory over Zac Castagna and Aleska Petrovic. Army earned two other double victories as well, and finished the day with four wins in singles play.
