WEST POINT, N.Y. – Following weeks of preparation in the pool, the Army West Point women's swimming and diving team is ready to get back into the water for the Patriot League Championships.

The meet begins on Wednesday in Annapolis, Md., and will end on Saturday Feb. 17th.

ARMY NOTABLES

Sabrina Mortell has swam several solid times this season, including the fourth fastest in the Patriot League in the 1000 free (10:05.15). Fellow Cadet Meaghan McGovern holds the fifth fastest in the event at 10:09.28. Mortell also carries the fifth-fastest 1650 free time at 17:10.99.
In the 50 back, Cecelia Croman (25.54) and Kim Sembrano (25.91) hold the two-best times, both of which were set at the Star Meet against Navy earlier this season. Croman holds the fourth-best time in the 100 back as well after she swam to a time of 55.39 at the Terrier Invitational.
Josephine Marsh had a NCAA B time earlier this season at the Star Meet after touching the wall at 1:59.17, a top-five time in the league.
On the boards, Serica Hallstead will look to score well for Army. Her score of 287.55 on the 1-meter board is the second-best score of any Patriot League diver this season.

Everything that we have done this semester has been focused on this event. Our training has progressed well and our recent meets have been challenging and preparing us to be at our best when it matters the most. Our goal is to post lifetime-best swims and dives."
