Black Knights Open Home Slate with Busy Weekend

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's tennis team begins an 11-match homestand this weekend with matchups against Binghamton, Sacred Heart and Seton Hall.
The Black Knights will square off against the Bearcats and Pioneers on Friday at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively. Army will close out the weekend with an 11 a.m. showdown with the Pirates.
ARMY (0-3, 0-0 Patriot League)
• Army has dropped its first three matches of a season for the first time since 2009.
• The Black Knights are coming off a hard-fought 4-3 setback at Rutgers on Wednesday.
• Rookies Ana Joyner and Sasha Inchauste earned their first-career dual wins versus the Scarlet Knights.
• Hannah Boubel leads the team with a 17-6 record in singles action.
BINGHAMTON (0-2, 0-0 America East)
• Army owns an 18-6 edge in the all-time series against Binghamton.
• The Bearcats enter the weekend seeking their first win of the season after being shut out by Rutgers (7-0) and Missouri (4-0).
• Maria Pandya and Paulina Tafler have won a team-high four singles matches this season.
• Ashley Granieri's three doubles wins are the most on the squad.
SACRED HEART (1-1, 0-0 NEC)
• The Black Knights have won all eight meetings with Sacred Heart since 2010.
• The Pioneers opened the season with a 7-0 victory over Monmouth before dropping a 6-1 decision at Quinnipiac.
• Brianne Lauria is 2-0 in singles duals at the No. 1 position.
SETON HALL (1-1, 0-0 Big East)
• Army is 13-9 in the all-time series with Seton Hall that started in 1991.
• The Pirates opened the spring season with a 5-2 setback against Fordham on Saturday.
• They rebounded with a 6-1 win over Marist on Sunday.
