• Army Head Coach Chad Bagley: "It is always great to move up the leaderboard during the final round. We had opportunities to move even further up over the last two days and that's where we'll focus our work for the rest of the fall season. We beat a lot of strong golf teams this weekend, but we want to win tournaments and we'll keep working to achieve those goals.
"I can't say enough about James McKee. To finish third individually at his first collegiate stroke play event and have three consecutive rounds under par is a great accomplishment. His poise and maturity on and off the course are really impressive and it was in full display at Bull's Bridge Golf Course.
"I'm also really proud of Nick Turner. He's been a rock for our team since his arrival at West Point and I can't wait to watch him over the next few years. After three rounds of par or better, Nick is ready for a special year.
"Dean Sakata played very well this weekend as well. He finished at three-over par for the tournament; and while Dean didn't have his "A" game this week, all he does is produce positive results. And as valuable as he is on the course, I can't say enough about his leadership of our team and his desire to make everyone around him better.
"It was a solid week for Army golf; and we're going to need to use it as a springboard as we continue to work hard, improve our games, and prepare to travel to Annapolis and compete against a very good Navy golf team in nine days."
