Army Returns to Michie to Host Terriers

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Black Knights return to Michie Stadium after a two-game road stint. Army earned its first Patriot League win in program history Wednesday night with an 11-9 win over Colgate.

SCOUTING ARMY
- Army jumped out to a 4-1 lead off the bat and went ahead at the half against Colgate (6-4) to mark the first lead after 30 minutes of play since March 1st.
- Success was seen all across the field as the offense outshot Colgate and had an .825 completion rate on clears.
- This season, the Black Knights have exceled on the draw due to the efforts by Amy Johnston (3.73) and Samantha Stewart (3.33) who are sixth and ninth in the conference.
- Maddie Burns boasts a 2.62 ground balls per game average to rank third in the Patriot League. Caroline Meegan of BU leads the league with 12.58 saves per game, but is 10th in goals against average (13.25), while Army's Burns is slated fourth (10.70).
SCOUTING BOSTON U.
- Boston University enters the weekend with a 6-7 overall record and a 4-3 mark in Patriot League contests.
- The Terriers are coming off a midweek 10-9 victory over Holy Cross in which Kailey Conry posted five points on two goals and three assists.
- Taylor Hardison netted two goals and added two helpers, while Mickenzie Larivee produced three goals.
- The Terriers are led by Conry who is first in assists per game with an average of 2.92. She is aided by Hardison's 1.83 helpers per game.
