COACHES CORNER:
"We knew coming into the day we would need to make a lot of birdies to make a move up the leaderboard. The got off to a hot start and had one of the low rounds of the through the first nine holes, but we made too many mistakes coming down the stretch. Th tournament field was excellent, so with the mistakes we made you can't expect to finish well. We need to clean up some of our rounds and finish stronger if we plan on achieving out goals at the end of the season. This event was good preparation for our upcoming championship at Bucknell."
"Kim had another great tournament as he was only a few shots out of first heading into the last nine holes today. He turned at -4 (32) and made a nice run before making a few late bogeys. He tied for 10th and is playing some great golf. Turner had a nice run a -4 through his first 12 holes today, but couldn't keep it going. When we look back at this event there will be a lot of frustration as we're so close to playing some great golf as a team. They have all showed what it takes to go low, but we're not finishing off the rounds like I know we can. We'll continue to work hard and prepare for our upcoming event at UConn in a few weeks. We can't thank Coach O'Keefe or the Augusta Golf Association enough for hosting such a first-class event."
UP NEXT:
The Cadets will take part in the "Til Duty is Done" two-day tournament hosted by UConn on April 15, 16. Â
