WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's golf team is traveling to Baltic, Conn., to take part in the "Veterans Golf Association" Collegiate Invitational, hosted by UConn over the weekend.

The Black Knights finished the invite third with round scores of 285-293-288 – 866. Peter Kim and Dean Sakata are the top returning finishers, tying for 13th with 220 stokes each. Justin Pagila placed in the top 25, scratching 72-78-73 – 223. Army was rounded out by Nick Turner who finished tied for 35th accumulating 229 strokes on the weekend. Â

- Army finished 15th at the Augusta Invitational after scoring 883 (+19) over the two-day tournament.
- Peter Kim was the highest scoring Cadet, finishing tied for 10th. Kim scratched 71-69-71 – 211 (-5) over the two-day tournament. He also picked up monthly accolades after being named the Patriot League Golfer of the Month.
- The next highest scoring athlete was Dean Sakata, who tallied 72-71-77 – 220 (+4) on the weekend. Â
- The rest of the scoring came from Nick Turner (76-77-73 –226 (+10)), who tied for 71st, Justin Pagila (77-74-77 – 228 (+12)) in 73rd and Matt Plunkett (75-78-78 – 231 (+15)) in 78th.
