Army Returns Home for Quinnipiac Doubleheader

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point softball team returns home after a seven-game road trip Thursday to face Quinnipiac for a midweek doubleheader at the Army Softball Complex.

The first game is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m., with game two starting approximately 30 minutes after the final out of game one.

ARMY (27-15, 7-5 Patriot League)
• The Black Knights are 6-9 in the all-time series against Quinnipiac dating back to 1981.
• Army is looking to get out of its four-game losing skid, which is tied for the longest of the season.
• Last season, the Black Knights won all three meetings against the Bobcats.
• Ashley Yoo leads the Cadets with 40 hits and an average of .377.
• Rookie Emily Ballesteros has provided the power in Army's lineup with a team-best nine doubles, three triples, two home runs and 26 runs batted in.

• Rebecca Drake and Miranda Magana are the primary weapons on offense for Quinnipiac, sporting averages of .410 and .344, respectively.

• Magana has hit the most home runs with six and is one behind Drake with 20 RBI.
• Abbey Long and Casey Herzog have shared the majority of the time in the circle in 2017 for Quinnipiac.
