Army to Participate in Penn Challenge

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's track and field team is set to take part in the Penn Challenge on Saturday in Philadelphia, Pa.

Last weekend, Army wrapped-up its West Coast tour at the Spring Break Invitational. The meet featured Bethany Nunnery in the 3000-meter run where she captured gold with a time of 9:53.31.
In the long jump senior captain Cori Lemere brought home a silver with a leap of 5.91 meters. First-year Samantha Colette placed second in the 3000-meter steeplechase clocking a time of 10:53.01.

UP NEXT: The Cadets will head to Annapolis for the Army-Navy Star meet in part of the Star Series presented by USAA next Saturday at 12 p.m.
