SCOUTING ARMY
- In their last time out, the Black Knights suffered its second straight one-goal deficit when Kennesaw State spoiled Army's comeback with the game winning goal scored with 34 seconds remaining in the game.
- Manuela Cortes and Rachel Hornick led the team with four goals apiece as Cortes' were all in a row to give her a natural hat trick and the sophomore added two assists in the game.
- It was the third consecutive game that Amy Johnston netted a hat trick as she finished with three goals, an assist and six draw controls.
- Erin Jollota also added to Army's efforts and netted two goals.
- Kayla Rowley and Maddie Burns split time in net with Rowley making nine saves.
SCOUTING LAFAYETTE
- The Leopards are 5-2 this season with wins over common opponents such as Central Connecticut State (17-6) and Manhattan (16-12).
- Kirsten Wilhelmsen leads Lafayette with 39 points on a team-leading 30 goals and nine helpers. Her 4.29 goals per game ranks her first in the league, while Hornick is second with 3.11.
- She is followed by Emma Novick who adds 20 goals and eight assists and Jane Kirby who has posted 19 goals and two helpers.
- It will be a battle on the draw circle as Kristin Schaen of the Leopards is third in the PL averaging 4.57 per game, while Johnston of Army is fifth with 4.44.
