Army Wins 4-1 in Home Opener Against Binghamton

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's tennis team opened its home slate with a 4-1 victory against Binghamton on Friday afternoon at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.

The Black Knights improved to 1-1, while the Bearcats are now 0-2 on the season.

ARMY HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES

Army is now 18-6 all-time against Binghamton.
Sophomore Kirby Einck made her debut in the top singles flight, taking a 6-3, 6-1 as the deciding victory in the match.
The victory was Einck's 10th singles victory of the season.
Senior co-captain Allyson Hayley notched her 10th doubles victory of the year and first with sophomore Genevieve McCormick.
