Cadets Travel to Patriot League Championships

West Point, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's track and field team is traveling to the Patriot League Championships in Boston, Mass., this coming weekend.

Last year Boston University captured the title for the second time in three years with 183 points. Bucknell took second (176), Lehigh was in third (129.5) and Army was fourth (83.5). The Black Knights were able to capture wins in the 800-meter run from sophomore Cassie Mundekis, as well as junior Briyah Brown in the shot put.

Going into the Patriot League Indoor Championships, the Black Knights hold three league season bests out of the 20 possible events. This includes Kamryn Brinson in the weight throw (17.76 meters), Brown in the shot put (15.27 meters) and Calli McMullen in the 200-meter dash (25.29).
