Black Knights Battle Buffalo/UConn on Saturday

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's tennis team returns welcomes Buffalo and Connecticut to the Lichtenberg Tennis Center for a series of matches on Saturday afternoon.
The Black Knights will battle Buffalo at 12 p.m., followed by a match with the Huskies at 4 p.m.
Army's contest versus St. John's, scheduled for Sunday afternoon, has been canceled.
LAST TIME OUT
Army fell to #22 Southern Methodist, 7-0, on Thursday evening. David Mitchell and Michael Sienko teamed up in the third doubles spot to defeat Markus Kerner and Arkadijs Slobodkins, 7-6.
SCOUTING BUFFALO
The Bulls come into the contest with a 1-3 record, including a 6-1 loss to Columbia last Saturday. Buffalo recorded its' lone win of the year against Brown, 5-2, on Jan. 22.
SCOUTING CONNECTICUT
The Huskies enter the matchup with a record of 2-3 on the season, and are coming off of a 6-1 win versus Merrimack last Saturday. Justin Warren and Arnaud Valentin lead the team with eight victories apiece this season.
UP NEXT
The Black Knights will travel to East Lansing, Mich., for matches against Michigan State and Air Force on Feb. 18 and 19. The duel with the Spartans will begin at 2 p.m., while the contests against the Falcons will start at 10 a.m.
