Black Knights Set for Midweek Tilt with Delaware

WEST POINT, N.Y. – After capturing its fifth straight win on Saturday, the Army West Point women's basketball team is back in action on Wednesday night to square off against Delaware in a midweek tilt scheduled for 7 p.m. at Christl Arena.

• Army looks to continue its winning ways and extend its streak to six when Delaware comes to Christl Arena on Wednesday night.

• Hovren continued her hot start to the season and collected her second consecutive Patriot League Player of the Week award.
• The eight-time Patriot League Player of the Week has reached double-digit scoring in all eight games this season and is just one of two Patriot League players averaging a double-double.
• In the fourth quarter of the previous five games, Army has posted 91 points compared to the opponent's 56. The Black Knights' defense has held three of its five opponents to less than 10 points in the fourth frame.

• Delaware, a team picked to finish fifth in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Preseason Poll, is 4-4 through its first eight games, but is 2-1 in its last three.
• The Blue Hens return eight student-athletes from last year's team that finished the season with a 16-14 overall mark and welcome three newcomers.
• Among those returning is junior Nicole Enabosi, who was tabbed Preseason First Team All-CAA. The Gaithersburg, Md., native is leading the Blue Hens with 21.1 points and 12.6 rebounds per contest. She has collected six double-doubles on the season and ranks inside the top-25 nationally in scoring and sixth in rebounding. Enabosi has put up at least 21 points in five of eight outings this season.
• Enabosi has been aided by a pair of double-digit scorers in Samone DeFreese (11.9 ppg) and Bailey Kargo (10.1). Abby Gonzales has run the point this season and is dishing out 3.9 assists per game to pair with 8.1 points per outing.
