Black Knights Prepare for Holy Cross, Colgate

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Black Knights return to Gillis Field House for a Friday night matchup against Holy Cross at 7 p.m. before traveling to Colgate Sunday for a 2 p.m. contest.

ARMY (16-9, 9-3 Patriot League)
- Army split in its matches on the road last weekend defeating Loyola, 3-0, but falling to American, 3-1.
- It was the first time since 2015 that the Cadets wrestled a set away from the Eagles.
- The Black Knights remain in second place in the Patriot League with a 9-3 mark.
- Carolyn Bockrath continues to lead the Black Knights with a .404 hitting percentage which ranks her 23rd in the country.
- The Cadets have four players that average over 2.50 kills per set. Bockrath leads the way with 3.50 followed by Amber Clay (3.10), Courtney Horace (2.60) and Vanessa Wesley (2.55).

HOLY CROSS (4-21, 1-11 Patriot League)
- The Crusaders enter the weekend at 4-21 overall and 1-11 in league play. Holy Cross defeated Lafayette earlier this season, 3-0.
- Holy Cross has seen success from Katie Kerins and Clare Honan this season who produce 3.22 and 2.40 kills per set.
- Kathleen Philo has paced the Crusaders' offense with 5.51 assists per set, while Sophie VanSeveren boasts a league-leading 5.79 digs per set.
- Earlier this season, the Black Knights blanked Holy Cross, 3-0.

COLGATE (15-9, 6-6 Patriot League)
- Colgate is currently riding a four match winning streak after defeating Bucknell (3-1), Lehigh (3-0), Navy (3-2) and Loyola (3-0).
- The Raiders will host Holy Cross on Saturday before the Black Knights on Sunday.
- Colgate ranks fifth in league standings with a .500 winning percentage.
- Lauren Sanderson leads the league with 10.85 assists per set this season.
- The Raiders' offense is led by Alli Lowe who produces 4.03 kills per set.
