Army to Compete at Terrier Invitational

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's swimming and diving team is in search of its third straight win at the Terrier Invitational, when the Black Knights trek to Boston on Friday.

The field at the three-day Terrier Invitational features Boston U., Bridgeport, Boston College, Colgate, UMass, New Hampshire and Vermont.

ARMY NOTABLES

Army won the Terrier Invitational last season with 1000.5 points.
Currently, the Black Knights are coming off a 203-97 loss to UConn on the road.
The Cadets picked up three-event wins against the Huskies.
Kara Wineinger placed first in the 100 breast, while also swimming the second leg of the 200 medley relay team that finished with the top time at the meet.

WENDER'S WORDS

"It's an exciting time of year as we get ready to go fast," head coach Mickey Wender said. "The hard work is done. We've had a good experience at this meet over the past few years and we're looking forward to competing there. I really like where the team is at right now. We're coming together at the right time. It's going to be a fun and productive weekend and a great run to Pearl Harbor Day in Annapolis."
