Army Readies for ITA Northeast Regionals

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's tennis team will be represented by five members during this week's ITA Northeast Regionals, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.
The event will begin Wednesday with the qualifying draws for singles and doubles, followed with the main draws beginning Thursday.
Rookies Sasha Inchauste and Ana Joyner will begin the tournament in the qualifying draw, while juniors Melanie Allen and Kirby Einck are slated into the main draw for singles. The doubles teams of Allen and Joyner, along with Einck and Gloria Son, are also in the main draw.

• The 2016-17 Patriot League Doubles Team of the Year of Einck and Son will compete at the tournament for the first time as a duo.
• Inchauste and Jouner will be making their debuts at regionals.
• Allen leads the Black Knights with 17 total wins, while Joyner follows closely behind with 16.
