"The team got off to a solid start today, but we struggled on holes 7-12," head coach Brian Watts stated. When we missed a green we either didn't get it up and down or we missed the 5'-10' putts to save par or bogey."
"Our short game suffered a bit today, so the team spent a great deal of time after the round getting a better feel for the speed of the greens.
I'm not sure if the Army Golf team has ever been paired with the #1 and #2 ranked team in the country during a tournament before, but we are thankful for the opportunity and are making the most of it. We are looking forward to a great day tomorrow."
