Men's Lacrosse Joins National Rankings

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's lacrosse is riding a four-game winning streak and has jumped into a pair of national polls this week.
The Black Knights are ranked 16th in the Cascade/Maverik Media Poll and earned the 18th spot in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA)/Nike National Poll. It's Army's first appearance in either poll this season. The Black Knights are receiving votes in the Nike/Lacrosse Magazine National Poll.
Army is joined by Patriot League schools Navy (No. 14) and Loyola (No. 17) in this week's media poll. In the USILA/Nike Poll, the Greyhounds are the highest ranked Patriot League school at No. 15, followed by Navy at No. 16.
The Black Knights look to extend their winning streak this weekend with a visit to Colgate in a rematch of last year's Patriot League Championship game. Opening faceoff is set for 1 p.m. in Hamilton, N.Y., and the game can be seen live on the American Sports Network. A channel listing will be provided this week. Â
