WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's basketball team hosts Colgate in front a national television audience on Monday at Christl Arena. The Black Knights and Raiders tip off on CBS Sports Network at 7:30 p.m.

STORYLINES
Last time out, Dylan Cox's three-pointer at the end of regulation sent the game to overtime, but Loyola Maryland prevailed 100-99 in double overtime. Tanner Plomb led four Black Knights in double figures in the scoring column with 25 points, while Kyle Wilson added 22. Kevin Ferguson posted a double-double for the second straight game of 17 points and equaled his career high with 14 rebounds. Cox also registered a double-double with 17 points and 10 boards and handed out a game-high five assists.
Colgate enters Monday's game with a 7-5 Patriot League mark following a road win at Colgate. The win snapped a three-game losing skid and earlier this season Colgate defeated Army 80-66 in Hamilton, N.Y.
Plomb is averaging 21.6 points per game this season which leads the Patriot League and ranks 16th in the nation. He has scored in double figures in 29 straight games dating back to last season after a 25-point effort against Loyola. He has 16 performances of at least 20 points during the streak.
Dylan Cox also had a milestone night against Lafayette as he became to Academy's all-time leader in assists (438). Cox passed Randy Cozzens '85 (430 career assists) and was also one of four Army players to score in double figures with 13 points. Army is 6-1 this season when four players score at least 10 points.
Army has played 15 games with its regular starting lineup of Cox, Kyle Wilson, Plomb, Larry Toomey and Ferguson. In those games, Army is 9-6 and averaging 84.2 points per game and outscoring its opponents by 3.8 points per game. Plomb averages 22.7 points per game, Wilson is scoring 17.8, Cox has a 71-34 assist-to-turnover ratio, Ferguson averages 11.5 points and 9.1 rebounds and Army is averaging 10.2 threes per game.
In the nine games without its full complement of starters, Army's scoring has dropped to 71.4 points per game and the Black Knights are making only 8.4 threes per game. The Black Knights are 4-5 in those games.
Overall, the Black Knights have the 27th-ranked offensive tempo in the country according to Ken Pomeroy. Army's offense has an adjusted tempo of 73.6, which is an estimate of the possessions per 40 minutes a team would have against the average D-I tempo. Army's average offensive possession length is 15.0 seconds, which is 13th in the nation.
Together, Wilson and Plomb were the top scoring duo in the Patriot League last year with an average of 33.3 points per game. Wilson was first in scoring in the conference at 17.5 points per game, while Plomb ranked fourth overall with a 15.8 points per game average. Plomb (21.6) and Wilson (16.8) are the top scoring duo in the Patriot League in 2015-16.
NEW VISITOR POLICY AT WEST POINT
Starting Jan. 10, people using a driver's license from the states of Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico or Washington will have to use another approved form of identification in order to enter West Point and all other military installations, due to federal guidelines. If you possess a valid Department of Defense issued identification card, this new requirement does not affect your ability to enter military installations.
Acceptable alternate forms of identification are a U.S. passport, a permanent resident card/Alien Registration Receipt Card (form 1-551), a foreign passport with a temporary I-551 stamp or visa or an employment authorization document that contains a photograph (Form I-766).
