WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's basketball team returns to the road for a key Patriot League matchup with American on Saturday afternoon. The Black Knights and Eagles tip off on the Patriot League Network at 4 p.m.

STORYLINES
Last time out, senior center Kevin Ferguson's double-double of a career-high 24 points and 12 rebounds propelled Army to an 82-72 victory over Colgate. Tanner Plomb and Kyle Wilson joined him in double figures with 18 and 13 points, respectively. As a unit, the Black Knights handed out 16 assists, including five by Larry Toomey and four each by Dylan Cox and Jordan Fox. Army moved to 5-8 in Patriot League play and 14-11 on the season.
American enters Saturday's game with a 5-8 Patriot League mark following consecutive road defeats to Lehigh and Boston University. After losing to Army 65-45 in the first meeting, American won five consecutive contests before its current two-game slide.
Plomb is averaging 21.4 points per game this season which leads the Patriot League and ranks 15th in the nation. He has scored in double figures in 29 straight games dating back to last season after an 18-point effort against Colgate. He has 16 performances of at least 20 points during the streak.
