Army and Air Force are set to renew their service-academy rivalry, and will play for the 17th time on Wednesday night.

The Black Knights have won the last four against the Falcons, with the programs last meeting in 2014-15.

Early trends indicate a strong defensive presence for the Black Knights, after forcing 32 turnovers at LIU Brooklyn (11/12), 29 at UAlbany (11/16), and 19 against Yale. The most turnovers by an Army opponent last season was 27 against Boston University on March 2, 2016.

Army leads Air Force, 9-7, in a series dating back to Jan. 2, 1985. The Black Knights and the Falcons last met on Nov. 25, 2014, with Army collecting a 79-35 victory at Christl Arena.

• Army won its fourth straight home opener, with a 59-55 victory over Yale on Nov. 18.
• Junior Lena' Hicks posted her first career double-double with career bests of 20 points and 10 rebounds. Hicks also added a career-high three blocks.
• Sophomore Madison Hovren shot 7-of-12 from the floor for the second game in a row to finish with 19 points and nine rebounds.
• Army trailed, 29-27, at halftime, but turned that around by outscoring Yale 32-26 in the second half. The Cadets are now 1-1 in games when trailing at the half.

• Air Force opened the season with three straight losses, including a 76-61 home setback to Weber State on Nov. 19.
• Three Falcons reached double figures in the game, including Kailin Davis, who led all scorers with 18 points.
• Sarah Pierce leads Air Force with 11.0 points per game this season.
