- After a hard-fought battle, the Cadets split with service academy rival Air Force last weekend.
- The Falcons struck first on Friday night with two-straight goals, but Army came back with four unanswered goals to clinch the game 4-0, and snap Air Force's 10-game unbeaten streak in the series.
- Zach Evancho and Conor Andrle both had multiple points on the weekend each with a goal and assist. Evancho scored Army's first goal of the weekend in a 6-on-5 delayed penalty opportunity and assisted on the game-winner.
- Blake Box and Trevor Fidler both netted their first goals of the season in Friday's contest. Saturday saw Air Force take an early 1-0 lead.
- Tyler Pham tied things up with the first short-handed goal of his career after stealing the puck during the penalty kill and converting on the one-on-one opportunity against the Falcons' keeper.
- Air Force scored a snipe in the third period before padding its lead with an empty net goal to even the score for the weekend. Parker Gahagen finished the series with 45 saves and a .918 saves percentage for Army.
