Boltus '11 Named MLL All-Star Game MVP

BOSTON – Former standout Jeremy Boltus '11 was named the Coca Cola Player of the Game at the 2015 Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game over the weekend.
Boltus, who plays for the Rochester Rattlers, earned the honor after scoring six goals for the Gladiator team in a 27-25 win over the Cowboys team at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas.
Boltus, who is a Captain in the United States Army, missed last year's All-Star Game as he was deployed to Afghanistan. He has played three out of the last four seasons in the MLL with the Hamilton Nationals, Charlotte Hounds, Denver Outlaws and now the Rochester Rattlers. He plays with 2015 Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year Sam Somers and current Army West Point assistant coach Justin Turri.
The Baldwinsville, N.Y., native played 61 games for the Black Knights and was a two-time all-Patriot League First Team selection. He is second all-time in career points (214) and assists (124) and was a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-American in 2011 as well as the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year. Boltus was also a Tewaaraton Award Finalist as a senior and was the first-ever finalist from Army West Point.
Boltus currently has 19 points in 16 games with the Rattlers in 2015. He has 12 goals and seven assists.
