WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's basketball team goes for its fifth consecutive win on Saturday afternoon when squares off against Air Force in Colorado Springs, Colo. Opening tip is 4 p.m. ET and the contest will be broadcast online on WatchESPN and ESPN3.com.

Army has made at least 10 three-pointers in eighth straight games and is averaging 11.2 three-point field goals per contest this season, which is fourth in the country. Kyle Wilson is fifth in the nation in threes per game with 4.11. As a team, Army is shooting 40.7 percent from three-point range (101-of-248), which ranks 23rd in the nation. Kennedy Edwards (11-of-19, 57.9 percent) and Adam Roe (10-of-19, 52.6 percent) occupy the top two spots in the Patriot League for three-point shooting percentage. Edwards is the reigning Patriot League Player of the Week after his career-high 21-point showing in Army's win at Maine.
Army has the top scoring offense in the Patriot League and is 22nd in the nation with 86.6 points per game. The Black Knights lead the conference in scoring margin (+11.1) and are 65th in the country in that category.
Seniors Tanner Plomb and Kyle Wilson have each scored in double figures in every game of the season. Wilson set a new career standard with 36 points on eight three pointers in the win over FDU and Plomb five games with at least 20 points.
Wilson scored 15 points in the win over Arkansas - Pine Bluff to become the fifth player in Academy history to reach 1,600 career points. He now has 1,651 career points.
Plomb has 993 career points going into Saturday's game and is looking to become the 30th player in Academy history to score 1,000 points. Multiple players from the same graduating class to reach the 1,000-point mark include 1981 graduates Bob Brown (1,282) and Marty Coyne (1,126) and 1990 graduates Todd Mattson (1,122) and Steve Rothert (1,054).
Senior point guard Dylan Cox is among the nation's leaders in assists per game. Cox leads the Patriot League and is tied for eighth in the country with an average of 7.3 assists per night. Cox is third in Academy history with 383 career assists.
Together, Wilson and Plomb were the top scoring duo in the Patriot League in 2014-15 with an average of 33.3 points per game. Wilson was first in scoring in the conference at 17.5 points per game, while Plomb ranked fourth overall with a 15.8 points per game average. Plomb (21.0) and Wilson (18.9) are the top two scorers in the Patriot League in 2015-16.
In 2015-16, Army is outrebounding its opponents by an average of 5.3 boards per game. The last time an Army team had a rebounding margin of better than five per game was in 1970 (+5.3). The largest positive margin in program history was 11.2 rebounds in 1964.
Kevin Ferguson's 63.4 percent career field-goal percentage (326-of-514) is third among active NCAA Division I players. Belmont's Evan Bradds leads the list with a 68.8 career-field goal percentage. Jalen Billups of Northern Kentucky is second at 63.6 percent for his career.
