WEST POINT, N.Y. – Highlighted by a top-three sweep in the 400 medley relay to kick-off the meet, the Army men’s swim and dive team defeated Lehigh Friday evening 141-98 at Jacobs Pool in Bethlehem, Pa.
“Tonight was a good start to the weekend,” said head coach Mickey Wender. “I thought we raced hard, especially the back half of the meet. We came together as a team and were a lot more aggressive, focused and inspired towards the end of the meet. It was a good win against a very well coached Lehigh team. Their sprinters were phenomenal tonight making us rely heavily on our divers and the points they were able to accumulate for us.”
