Each weekday this summer a new cadet-athlete will be featured in Getting to Know, a Q&A series where Army fans can read about their favorite players. Today's cadet is sophomore golfer Justin Pagila.

HOMETOWN: Dublin, Calif.
MAJOR: Economics and Spanish
DESCRIBE COACH WATTS: Coach Watts deeply cares about us as a team and us as individuals and is committed to getting the best out of us.
FAVORITE ATHLETE: Pat Tillman
FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM: San Francisco 49ers
BEST PART OF ARMY GOLF: Competing at the Division I level while representing the Army.
FAVORITE COURSE TO PLAY: Anywhere with good weather and fast greens.
OPPONENT MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO PLAYING: Besides Navy, I look forward to playing the highest ranking team, whoever that is. It is always fun to go after the best and take them down.
HOW ARE YOU SPENDING YOUR SUMMER: I am attending Air Assault School, CFT, and the FBI Crisis Negotiation Course.
TO RELAX, I: Run, lift weights, watch Netflix, and eat good food.
FAVORITE MEAL: Caesar salad with blackened salmon.
FAVORITE VACATION SPOT: Cancun, Mexico.
MY IPOD HAS: A good mix of country, hip-hop, and 80s.
FAVORITE PART OF WEST POINT: The mentors and friends I have found here have taught me so much.
DESCRIBE ARMY GOLF: A motley crew driven to defy the adversity of playing Division I athletics at the United States Military Academy
ARMY’S MVP IN 2014 WILL BE: Peter Kim. Peter is the most consistent all-around player I have ever been around.
WHAT PLAYER WILL SURPRISE PEOPLE IN 2014: Robby Hill. Robby is the competitive spirit of the team and a great team captain. He has a chip on his shoulder that fires us up and he is due for a great year.
STRONGEST PLAYER ON TEAM: Me. I’m sure others would disagree but we can settle that in the weight room.
FASTEST PLAYER ON TEAM: Robby Hill. I’m catching up though and Marcus Plunkett has those long strides.
FUNNIEST PLAYER ON TEAM: Robby or Marcus. That’s a close one.
WHICH PLAYER IS MOST LIKELY TO BECOME A GENERAL: Steven Pedersen.
WHAT EVENT THAT IS NOT ON OUR SCHEDULE WOULD YOU LIKE TO PLAY AND WHY: Any event in Hawaii. Aloha?
