Georgie Donnelly was named an Assistant Coach for the Army West Point women's soccer team in November of 2019.
Donnelly served as the Volunteer Assistant Coach throughout the season and was elevated to full-time status after the team's postseason run to the Patriot League Championship game.
Prior to her time on the banks of the Hudson, Donnelly was the Ramapo High School Associate Head Coach for the varsity girls’ soccer team where she developed multiple players who went on to play at Division I programs.
She was also the head coach of the Torpedoes Soccer Club and the Chowan University Head Coach.
Donnelly boasts a wealth of professional experience as well 15 years of coaching experience. She played in the English Premier League from 2008-10, was a member of the Liverpool Ladies FC Hampton Roads Piranhas (2002, 2003), the England National Team (2002) and Cleveland Eclipse (2001).
Donnelly became the first Lock Haven women's soccer player to earn All-America status and was named to the school’s athletic Hall of Fame in the fall of 2019. She was named a First Team All-American in 1999 along with being named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Player of the Year.
In all, Donnelly was a four-time first team All-Conference player and a two-time first team All-Region selection. Her play led Lock Haven to the program's first PSAC title and first NCAA tournament berth in 1999. Donnelly's name remains among the program's all-time statistical leaders.
She has achieved an NSCAA Advanced National Coaching Diploma.
