Stephanie Hanuman joined Army West Point Athletics in November 2021. As the Associate Athletics Director of Human Resources, she leads the HR department with a focus on employee relations, policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, and benefits. Central to her work is staff engagement and retention, ensuring a supportive and thriving environment for all employees.

In March 2023, Stephanie was promoted to the Executive Staff. As a member of the Executive team, she plays a pivotal role in aligning the department’s efforts with the organization's strategic framework, including the Fruits of Victory Strategic Plan, as well as its overarching mission and vision.

Stephanie is the Sport Administrator for Softball further broadening her impact within the department.

During her tenure, Stephanie was named a finalist for the 2023 Teamwork Online Best Sports Boss award, recognizing her outstanding leadership.

Prior to joining Army West Point Athletics, Stephanie gained extensive professional experience in the luxury retail, banking, and finance sectors.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Communication with a minor in Law from Baruch College and an Inclusive Leader Certificate from Return on Inclusion.

A proud native of New York, she currently resides in Monroe, New York with her husband Andrew, their American Akita, and two Siberian cats.
