Anthony Zack started his Army West Point tenure in April 2023. Here he is the head strength and conditioning coach for West Point’s Softball, Men’s Rugby, and Women’s Tennis teams.
Before coming to Army West Point, he had a brief stay at Western Michigan University starting in January 2023. There he was the head strength and conditioning coach for Women’s Track and Field, XC. And assisted with Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, and Women’s Gymnastics.
Before arriving at WMU, he was hired as a graduate assist with McNeese State University strength and conditioning staff in August 2021.
At McNeese, he was the head strength coach for Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, XC. He was instrumental in Men’s Cross Country 2021 Southland Conference Championship, Women’s Track and Field 2022 Indoor and Outdoor Southland Conference Championships (1st in programs history). He was also the head strength coach for Women’s Tennis and Women’s Soccer. In addition, he assisted with Football, Baseball, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, and Volleyball. Likewise, he oversaw the Nutrition Department of the athletic department.
Zack began his collegiate strength and conditioning career as a football strength intern Florida Atlantic University in the summer of 2021. Before that, he spent three years as a sport performance coach in a private training facility in New Jersey.
He graduated with his Master’s in Health and Human Performance from McNeese State University in 2022 and graduated Sigma Cum Laude from Rowan University in 2018 where he got his bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science.
A native of Burlington, New Jersey, he is a former high school wrestler and trained MMA for six years. His certifications include CSCS and USAW Level 1. Zack's hobbies outside of athletics include golfing and crabbing.
