HONORS AND ACCOLADES
2021: Earned Patriot League All-Academic Team honors … Had a breakout sophomore season and led the team with 115 strikeouts, the ninth-most in the program’s single-season history … Posted an ERA of 3.33 through a team-high 97.1 innings pitched … Notched a 6-9 mark in the circle and tossed 11 complete games, two of which were shutouts … Registered at least nine strikeouts in six games … Struck out a career-best 11 batters twice (at Fordham March 5, vs. Holy Cross May 8) … Slashed .320 in the batter’s box … Chipped in 10 runs scored and four total RBI … Homered in the elimination game against Colgate (May 14) … Tallied four multi-hit games, which included a 3-for-4 day at Lafayette (May 6).
2020: Appeared in 18 games and earned 16 starts during her rookie campaign … Owned a team-leading batting average of .472, going 25-for-53 from the plate … Made 11 appearances on the mound, posting a record of 3-5 … Struck out 36 batters … Owned a 16-game hit streak and reached base in all but one game that she played in … Had five extra-base hits with a double, two triples and two home runs … Registered seven multi-hit contests … Went 3-for-4 with two RBIs in Army’s win over Niagara on March 9 … Season cut short due to COVID-19 pandemic
Prior to West Point: Was the Northwest Florida Daily News hitter and pitcher of the year in 2019 … Earned first team all-state honors each year from 2016-19 … Also starred in volleyball, basketball, weightlifting, soccer, flag football and track and field … In soccer, Grete earned first team all-county honors … Was the district champion in the triple jump … Her 4x400m relay team took 13th at the state meet … Placed at states three separate times in weightlifting … A member of the National Honor Society, she was also part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes … Majoring in Life Sciences.
