Prior to West Point: Played three years of softball at Peru HS … recorded 95 career strikeouts along with hurling a no hitter … just as proficient at the plate … batted .371 with six doubles, a triple and four home runs … three-year track letterwinner … member of Indiana Magic Gold club softball team.
