2015-16: Competed for Army at the Patriot League Champions and clocked two career-best times … placed eighth in the 200 IM with a time of 1:50.26 … now ranks second on Army’s All-Time Top-10 Times list in the 200 IM … touched the wall 13th in the 100 fly (49.39) at the league meet … finished eighth in the 200 breast (2:01.82) … set an Academy record in the 100 IM during the dual-meet against UMass after he finished in 51.94 … won the 100 breast in the tri-meet with Binghamton and NJIT … placed first in the 200 breast versus Lehigh, Bucknell and in the tri-meet opposite American and George Mason … branched in to the Field Artillery Corps.
2014-15: All-Patriot League Second Team … swam career-best times in each of his events at the Patriot League Championships … placed fifth in the 200 breast with a time of 2:00.72 … improved to the No. 5 slot on Army's All-Time Top 10 times list … finished the 200 IM (1:49.67) in seventh … jumped to the No. 2 position on the top times list … touched the wall 11th in the 100 breast with a time of 56.11 … now ranks ninth on the top times list … swam exhibition for Army at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships … clocked a career-best time of 21.84 in the 50 free … won both the 200 fly and 200 breast in the dual-meet at UMass … finished first in the 200 fly at the tri-meet with Colgate and Lafayette … won the 200 breast in the dual-meet at Lehigh … placed second in the 200 breast during the dual-meet at Bucknell.
2013-14: All-Patriot League Second Team ... swam the top-time in the 100-back (49.71) ... breaking an Academy Record ... clocked the team's second-best time of the season in the 200-breast (2:01.54) and in the 100-fly (48.58) ... member of Academy record-setting 400-medley team relay (3:17.81) at Patriot League Championships.
2012-13: Swam his way onto the all-conference second team in the 2012-13 in his first year at Army...had an impressive outing at the Patriot League Championships...recorded a time of 1:50.94 in the 200 IM for a personal best, the number two spot on the all-time top 10 and plebe record lists at Army...also had a personal-best time in the 400 IM touching the wall at 4:01.94 in the preliminary round, a time that made the all-time top ten...added a seventh place finish in the 200 breast...posted a second and third-place finish in the quad-meet versus Boston, Rowan and Vermont (Oct. 5)...came in fourth in the 100 back in the tri-meet versus Colgate and Lafayette (Jan. 26)...had two second-place finishes in the 200 breast (2:09.33) and 200 IM (1:56.95) in the meet versus Delaware (Jan. 18)...recorded two top-10 finishes in the meet versus Navy (Dec. 6)...had an exceptional performances in the tri-meet against LIU Post and Columbia...posted a fourth place finish and a personal-best finish in the 200 butterfly touching the wall at 1:52.82...also had both a first and second-place finish in the 200 IM and 200 breast...posted a first place finish in the 200 breast and a fouth-place finish in the 200 IM at Buffalo (Nov. 10)...won the gold in the 200 butterfly, silver in the 200 IM and bronze in the 200 breast in the meet versus UConn(Oct. 26)...recorded a third-place finish in the 200 butterfly touching the wall at 1:54.97 in the tri-meet versus American and George Mason (Jan. 19)...recorded a personal-best time at the Big Brown Invitational in the 200 breast preliminaries touchingthe wall at 2:03.36...had a personal-best performance in the 200 breast posting a time of 2:03.36.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Graduated from Great Neck South High School in 2012 ... broke county records in the 200-IM and 100-breast... named team MVP three straight years, earning the honors as a sophomore, junior and senior.
PERSONAL: Was afraid of the water as a child and did not get into a pool until he was eight years old ... immediately fell in love with the sport at that point ... enjoys playing basketball and soccer in his free time ... prefers Grant over the mess hall ... wishes there was music played under water during events ... major is systems engineering.
