Background: Came to West Point from Congers, N.Y., where he played for Soccer Domain FC and Don Bosco Preparatory High School ... He garnered All-League honors and was named a Bergen County All-Star Selection ... McGovern was also tabbed the Offensive Player of the Year and MVP of his high school team ... He was a member of the National Honors Society as well.
