Victoria Crooks serves as a Senior Athletic Trainer for the Army West Point football program, having initially joined the sports medicine staff as an assistant athletic trainer in June 2023. In her role on the banks of the Hudson River, she works directly with the football team to ensure elite athletes' health, recovery, and peak performance in a demanding collegiate environment.
She arrived at West Point from the University of South Carolina, where she worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Gamecocks' football program. Prior to her time in Columbia, Crooks served as a contracted head athletic trainer at Fairfield Central High School and Fairfield Middle School in Winnsboro, S.C.
Crooks earned her Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training from Wichita State University. She went on to complete her post-graduate education at the University of South Carolina, earning a Master of Science in Advanced Athletic Training.
A highly skilled clinician, Crooks holds advanced certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities, including Graston M1 and Structure and Function Dry Needling Level 1. Additionally, she holds an Owens Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) certification and is fully CPR and AED certified.
She maintains active professional memberships in both the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and the College Athletic Trainers' Society (CATS).
A native of Saint Joseph, Missouri, Crooks was born in O’Fallon, Illinois.
