Bryan Schneider serves as the Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine and the Head Football Athletic Trainer for Army West Point.
Schneider arrived at West Point in 2025 with two decades of extensive athletic training experience, including 13 years operating as a head athletic trainer at the collegiate level. Most recently, he spent two seasons (2023-25) as the Associate Director of Athletic Medicine and Head Football Athletic Trainer at Duke University. Prior to his time with the Blue Devils, Schneider served a five-year stint (2018-23) in a similar role at James Madison University as the Associate Director of Athletic Medicine and Head Football Athletic Trainer.
His extensive background in leadership positions also includes five years (2013-18) as the Head Football Athletic Trainer at Western Kentucky University, which followed two seasons (2011-13) as the Assistant Football Athletic Trainer at Texas Tech University.
Before transitioning into full-time roles, Schneider spent time in the National Football League (NFL). He served as a seasonal assistant athletic trainer for the Jacksonville Jaguars during the 2010-11 season, which followed internships with the Detroit Lions (2007) and the Houston Texans (2006).
Schneider earned his Master of Education in Sports Administration from Auburn University, where he also gained valuable collegiate experience as a graduate assistant football athletic trainer from 2008-10.
A certified and licensed athletic trainer (ATC, LAT), Schneider holds specialized credentials in Dry Needling and Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) therapy. He is an active member of both the College Athletic Trainers' Society (CATS) and the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA).
A native of San Marcos, Texas, Schneider and his wife, Lisa, have a seven-year-old daughter, London.
