He was also one of three FBS players to record 100+ tackles, 3+ sacks and 2+ INTs this year. Lowin also received several accolades both on the field and in the classroom including Phil Steele Second Team Defense All-Independent and a Second Team Academic All-American…at Coastal Carolina (9/3): Made 11 tackles (five solo) along with 1.5 TFLs...vs. UTSA (9/10): Posted nine tackles (five solo)...vs. Villanova (9/17): Tabbed seven tackles (four solo)...vs. Georgia State (10/1): Registered 12 tackles (10 solo) and had a sack and two TFLs…at Wake Forest (10/8): Started and led the defensive unit with 11 tackles (six solo)...vs. Colgate (10/15): Logged his first career interception to go along with a forced fumble and six tackles (three solo)...vs. ULM (10/22): Had a team-high 11 tackles (six solo), a sack, and an interception marking just the seventh occurrence since 2015 that an Army defender as logged a sack and interception in the same game...vs. Air Force (11/5): Posted eight tackles (seven solo) and a sack...vs. UConn (11/19): Recorded seven stops and was credited with 0.5 tackles for loss...at UMass (11/26): Logged three tackles in the start…vs. Navy (12/10): Posted a career-high 16 tackles, and was named the Army-Navy Game player of the game, as voted on by the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association.
2021: Played in 13 games and recorded 37 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack and one pass defended…vs. UConn (9/18): Tallied two tackles (one solo)...at Ball State (10/2): Did not record any stats...at Wisconsin (10/16): Appeared at linebacker but did not record any stats...vs. Wake Forest (10/23): Made his first career start and logged three total tackles (one solo)...vs. Air Force (11/6): Posted one solo tackle...vs. Bucknell (11/13): Made a solo tackle and assisted on another...vs. UMass (11/20): Started at linebacker and led the team with 10 tackles and recorded one TFL for two yards…at Liberty (11/27): Made six tackles (five solo) and also came up with a three-yard sack and a pass breakup…at Navy (12/11): Turned in a solo tackle…Armed Forces Bowl vs. Missouri (12/22): Posted eight total tackles and 1.5 TFL...
2020: Appeared in 11 of Army's 12 games, playing primarily on special teams...Finished the season with six tackles (two solo)...Had one stop against West Virginia in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl (Dec. 31)...Had three tackles (two solo) vs. Mercer (Oct. 24)...Had a pair of one-tackle games vs. UTSA (Oct. 17) and Abilene Christian (Oct. 3)...Made his collegiate debut in Army's season-opening shutout of MTSU (Sept. 5).
Prior to West Point/Personal: Attended Westlake High School, where he played for head coach Todd Dodge…Earned all-state recognition and was tabbed his team’s defensive most valuable player his senior season…Helped lead his team to a 15-1 record and a state championship in 2019, serving as a captain…Totaled 106 tackles and three interceptions his senior year…Majoring in Engineering Management.
