John French

John French joined the Army West Point football staff in the spring of 2020 as the Offensive Quality Control Coach.
French was formally a Graduate Assistant at the University of Kentucky where he spent the 2019 season working with the quarterbacks. During that time, he was responsible for helping the offensive staff with weekly tasks and breakdown upcoming opponent film. He also helped co-offensive coordinator/quarterback coach, Darin Hinshaw, with organizational details, practice preparation, data implementation for opponent film, and weekly game plan material.
Along with working with the quarterbacks, French was responsible for assisting Kentucky Offensive Coordinator Eddie Gran with recruiting operations. This included researching and evaluating potential prospects along with creating recruiting boards in his designated area.
Prior to working as a graduate assistant at Kentucky, French was a part of the recruiting department. He was responsible for researching and evaluating potential prospects in his area and delivering them to the coaching staff, along with contributing to game day recruiting operations.
French was involved with SEC football for five seasons where he worked with football operations, recruiting, and coaching. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from the University of Kentucky.
