Jansen Petagna is in his first season as the Director of Scouting and On-Campus Recruiting for Army football.
Petagna came to West Point after spending four seasons as the Director of Football Operations at Columbia. He assisted with all recruiting efforts and maintained a database of 2,000-plus prospects and was an NFL scout lisason. He organized team travel and orchestrated official visits for prospects and summer camps.
Prior to joining the staff at Columbia, Petagna was a football operations and player personnel intern with the New Orleans Saints for three seasons. He evaluated the team's personnel in the preseason and assisted in coordinating the workouts for free agent players. In addition, Petagna completed character and injury reports for the player personnel department.
Petagna is a 2011 graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Administration in Kinesiology.
