Eric Sheridan joined the Army West Point football staff in April of 2021 as the Offensive Recruiting Coordinator.Â
Sheridan comes to Post after spending three years (2017-2020) at UNLV as the Director of Player Personnel. While with the Running Rebels, he oversaw the team's online recruiting database creating a web-based system for the coaching staff to evaluate and recruiting prospective student-athletes. Sheridan organized the logistics (itineraries, travel, lodging, meals, etc.) for all recruiting visits and maintained the breakdown of the team's 105 roster.Â
Prior to his stint in Las Vegas, Nev., Sheridan spent a year (2016-2017) as the Pro Personnel Intern for the New York Giants. He assisted with the logistics and coordination of player tryouts and visits, scouting at preseason games to evaluate players and analyzed teams' tendencies. He created point-of-attack tapes on players cut, upcoming opponents, UFA's and Cap-cuts after the season. Sheridan assembled, edited and distributed advance books during the season that included offensive/defensive notes, personnel groupings, sub packages and player scouting reports.Â
Sheridan was the Offensive Quality Control Coach and Recruiting Assistant at Wake Forest University from 2014-2016 , prior to his time in New Jersey. He was the primary assistant to the Tight Ends Coach helping with meetings, workouts and on-field drills. During his time in Winston-Salem, N.C., he helped Wake Forest sign the #49 and #50 recruiting class in the country according to 247sports.com. He was the main on-campus recruitor and managed the recruiting news and boards helping keep the staff fully informed.Â
Sheridan graduated from Saint Francis University in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management.
