Al Ades was named the Army West Point Defensive Quality Control Coach in the spring of 2020.
After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2015, Ades joined the Wolverines' football staff interning and assisting the Passing Game Coordinator and Assistant Director of Football Operations. In 2016, he became a full-time employee while developing Michigan's first Football Analytics Department as the Analytics Coordinator while also serving as an Operations Assistant.
In 2017, Ades transitioned to the defensive side of the ball, adding Defensive Assistant to his resume. In 2018, he continued to the run the Analytics Department for the Wolverines while assisting Safeties Coach Chris Partridge as a part of the Defensive staff. Last season, he became the primary Assistant to the Defensive Coordinator Don Brown, assuming all relevant responsibilities commensurate with that role.
Ades joins Army West Point football after worked closely with Defensive Coordinator Nate Woody at Michigan in 2019.
