Football’s Brady Small and Teddy Williams Named to Shriners Children’s East-West Bowl 1000
July 22, 2026 | Football
TAMPA, Fla. – Army West Point football offensive linemen Brady Small and Teddy Williams were named to the 2027 Shriners Children's East-West Bowl 1000 list, the bowl announced.
Both Small and Williams return as starters on Army's offensive line, a unit which brings back four of its five starters from 2025.
Small has been named a team captain for 2026 after the center earned American Conference First Team All-Conference honors in 2024 and 2025, while also helping lead the offensive line to the Joe Moore Award in '24, with Army being the first Group of Five school to win the award.
Williams meanwhile moved from tight end to right tackle ahead of '25, starting in each game a season ago. He helped block for 3,485 rushing yards on the season and was part of a unit which allowed just seven sacks on the year, a metric that was best in all of FBS.
The Shriners Children's East-West Bowl is a best-in-class all-star event that will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on February 4, 2027, featuring the top draft-eligible seniors in the nation. Players will be coached by NFL coaches, in an NFL facility, and will have access to NFL-level resources, facilities, player-friendly schedules, and opportunities at the highest level.
