Softball Lands Eight Cadet-Athletes on Patriot League All-League Teams
May 05, 2026 | Softball
BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Patriot League announced its softball postseason awards on Tuesday afternoon, with eight total cadet-athletes receiving All-League honors, five receiving First Team honors, and three earning Second Team honors.
The eight total honorees this season tie with 2026 regular season champion Boston University for the most All-League honorees on one team this season. It is also the second most honorees that the Black Knights earned in a single season in program history, just one short of the record nine All-League athletes Army saw in the 2025 season. It is also the second straight season where Army earned the most All-League nods.
The members of the All-League First Team include Ashton White, Hannah Laub, Caitlyn Newburn, Taylor Brown and Amanda Eaglin. Despite earning no major awards, the Black Knights scored the most members on the First Team this season, with Boston U having the second most, with three.
The five members on the First Team also tie the program record for the most All-League First Team honorees in a single season, with 2002 being the last time Army landed five athletes on the list. The members from the 2002 honorees included: Shauna Evans, Lindsay March, Gina Fox, Bianca Brito and Nicki Robbins.
As for the second team, the three members include Breanna Coonfare, Sienna Tepley and Breanna Izzo.
All-League First Team

The senior also broke the Army's single-season and career home run and RBIs records during the regular season.

All-League Second Team
Breanna Coonfare (Outfielder) – The sophomore played and started in all but one game for the Black Knights this season, finishing the season batting .300 with 45 hits, 31 runs, 29 RBIs and a team-best 10 doubles to receive the first All-League nod of her young career.
