No. 13/13 Women’s Lacrosse Earns Two on Academic All-Patriot League

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point women's lacrosse seniors Brigid Duffy and Meghan Pedrani earned Academic All-Patriot League honors as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon. Duffy was recently named the Patriot League Midfielder of the Year, while Pedrani earned a spot on the second team All-Patriot League

The Black Knights will now look ahead to the Patriot League Semifinals, matching up with third-seeded Loyola on Thursday at 7 p.m. from Annapolis, Md.

Brigid Duffy, Midfielder, Senior, Queensbury, N.Y.
- Finished the Regular Season leading the conference in goals per game (3.88 per game) and first in total goals (62)
- Ranks first in the conference in caused turnovers (44), first in ground balls (45) and fifth in the nation in goals and goals per game, eighth in nation Caused Turnovers (44). Additionally, is the second highest active career goal scorer with 244 goals across NCAA D1 lacrosse and second highest in points with 300 and is one of four active players in D1 with 300 career points
- Was named a Tewaaraton Award Top 25 Finalist as well as a First Team Nike Lacrosse Midseason All-American
- Patriot League Midfielder of the Year and First Team All-League Selection
- Member of SAAC and a Team Captain
- Biology major with a 3.253 GPA at the United States Military Academy
- Air Assault School Graduate as well as completing mountain warfare in Slovenia
- Five-time member of the Dean's List and awarded the Superintendent's Award for Achievement for being Top 6 through 15% of each class
- Will Branch Engineers
- Appeared and started in all 16 games for the Black Knights on the defensive end helping Army to the second lowest goals against total among the conference
- Recorded her first collegiate goal and two assists as a defender
- Finished the season with 23 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers
