No. 13/15 Women’s Lacrosse Clinches First Patriot League Regular Season Title with Win at Colgate

HAMILTON, N.Y. – Army West Point women's lacrosse secured a win over Colgate (5-10, 3-6 Patriot League) on Wednesday evening by a score of 21 to 6. With the win, the Army (13-3, 8-1 Patriot League) earned a share of the 2026 Patriot League Regular Season Championship and the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Patriot League Tournament.

- set the tone immediately. After a defensive stop and clear, junior Ryan Remaly opened the scoring at 12:49, and from there the Black Knights never trailed. Colgate briefly tied it at 1–1, but senior Allison Reilly took over the quarter, scoring four straight goals in a span of 3:38, including a free-position finish with 58 seconds left. Her burst sent Army into the second quarter up 5–1 and firmly in control.
- The second frame was all Black Knights. Senior Brigid Duffy scored twice in 13 seconds to ignite a seven-goal quarter, and senior Lily Valentini added her first of four at 5:48. Sophomore Paige Moretti struck twice, including a free-position goal, and Remaly added her second off a Duffy feed. After a brief Colgate man-up goal, Duffy closed the half with her third of the day at 19 seconds, giving Army a commanding 12–2 halftime lead.
- Army's midfield and draw unit continued to dominate after the break. Valentini scored twice more in the third, and Moretti added her fourth of the afternoon off a Reilly assist. Though Colgate found two goals late in the quarter, Army still carried a 15–4 advantage into the fourth.
- The Black Knights finished with their strongest quarter of the day, outscoring Colgate 6–2 in the final 15 minutes. Duffy scored three more times, including an unassisted strike at 14:49 and a feed from Reilly at 8:34. Valentini added her fourth at 10:57, and sophomore Emilee DeGrand capped the scoring with her first career goal off a setup from freshman Thais Jackson with 22 seconds remaining.
