Men’s Tennis Travels to Annapolis for Star Match

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's tennis team is set to take on Navy in the annual Star Match, which is part of the Army-Navy Star Series Presented by USAA, on Saturday afternoon in Annapolis. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
In addition to the star being on the line, Army (17-9, 5-0) would clinch the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League Tournament with a victory on Saturday. The Black Knights have recorded a 4-0 sweep in four of its five conference matches this season.
Jackson Armistead has been one of Army's best singles players this year, posting a 10-5 record in dual play and an 8-5 record in the No. 1 spot. Alan Ton leads the team with a 12-3 singles record. Both players are undefeated in conference play.
In doubles, the duo of Marcus Sebastian and Tucker Culpepper are leading the way with nine wins. Jack Hanna and Daniel Choi are not too far behind them with six.
Army is looking for its first win over Navy since 2017, as the Black Knights have dropped the last 11 matchups.
Fan Access Information
Fans without prior authorization will not be allowed to either walk or drive onto the USNA grounds. Fans must park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and ride the shuttle bus. Enter the blue / west parking lot through gate 5 off of Taylor Avenue (550 Taylor Avenue, Annapolis, Md., 21401). There is a $10 per vehicle parking fee. The free fan shuttle bus will leave from and return to the Blue Angel jet. Everyone ages 18 and over must have either a state issued driver's license with REAL ID or a U.S. government issued passport. Visitors ages 17 and younger without a valid picture ID must be accompanied by an adult. Foreign passports are not permitted for general access.
The shuttle will ONLY be transporting fans TO the matches from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with the drop off point by the tennis courts starting at noon. However, it will be available to return fans to the stadium until 5 p.m.
