Track and Field Concludes Opening Outdoor Meet

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point track and field program opened its outdoor season on Friday, hosting the Army Open at Shea Stadium.
Army dominated nearly every single event, as the Black Knights used this opening meet to get into competition form as the spring outdoor season hits full stride over the next two months.
The Black Knights took home the top spot in 24 of the 39 events. While a smaller field, Army went against strong opponents from schools that included Seton Hall and Fordham.

Army gears up for a massive week of competition, as it sends athletes to two events. The Black Knights will compete in the Raleigh Relays hosted by N.C. State next Thursday–Saturday, while also sending athletes to the UCF Knights Invitational in Orlando on Friday and Saturday.
