Swimming & Diving Completes Army Invite

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point swimming & diving completed its Army Invite two-day meet over the weekend. The black Knights put in a slate of program records and top times to round out their regular season competition.
On the diving boards, Army put in some of its top performances of the year on both the men's and women's sides with nine NCAA Zone Cut performances across both teams. Freshman Hadley Futch led on both boards for the women with a pair of first place finishes including a program-record setting score of 302.03 on the 1m board.
Lucas Mowry and Cohen Laylo earned first place on the men's boards with a 313.73 on the 1-meter board for Mowry and a 345.83 on the 3-meter board for Laylo.
Army highlighted its swimming events with a big performance from the men's 400 medley relay team of Johnny Crush, Kohen Rankin, Daniel Verdolaga, and Thomas Hadji that put in a time of 3:04.10 to 2 clear the NCAA qualifying standard as well as set a new program record, Crandall Pool record, Patriot League record, and log the 13th fastest time in the NCAA this season for the event.
As the leadoff swimmer for the medley relay, Johnny crush swam a 44.10 in the 100 back portion of the event dash setting a program record, Crandall Pool record, Patriot League record, and record the third fastest time in the nation this season for the 100 back.
On the women's side, Angie McKane set a new Crandall Pool record in the women's 100 fly with a 52.10 while Molly Webber put in the second-fastest women's 200 IM time in program history with a 1:59.70.

Army next competes at the 2026 Patriot League Championships over February 18-21, hosted in Annapolis, Md. at Navy's Lejeune Hall. Prelims for each day will begin at 10 a.m. ET with the finals to follow at 6 p.m. ET.
