Chloe Murakami Named Patriot League Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Senior outside hitter Chloe Murakami earned the first Patriot League Weekly Award for the Black Knights in 2025, being named Patriot League Player of the Week.
The senior earns the weekly honor not only for the first time this season, but for the first time in her career. Murakami is no stranger to Patriot League awards, having been named to the Patriot League All-League Second Team after the 2024 season.
Murakami led Army's attack to a 2-0 weekend with wins over Lehigh and Lafayette. The outside hitter posted a team-high 30 kills and 4.29 kills per set, averaging a .243 hitting percentage.
She also added 12 digs and three blocks. Murakami finished with a .931 reception percentage on 29 attempts.
Murakami and the Black Knights are back in action on Friday, October 3 at 6 p.m. ET, taking on the Holy Cross Crusaders in the Hart Center.
