Jeffords Selected to Represent Army Golf at Jackson T. Stephens Cup

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Army West Point golfer junior Drew Jeffords has been selected to represent the Black Knights at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup, Sept. 15-16, at the Shoreacres Golf Club in Lake Bluff, Ill.
Jeffords will look to follow up the on the success Josh Kim had at the event last year. Kim finished in a tie for 11th on the leaderboard.
The tournament in its fifth year of existence in named in the honor of Jack Stephens. Jackson T. Stephens Cup tournament committee has extended invitations to individual players as part of its celebration of diversity of education, ethnicity and background. Individuals from four HBCUs (Florida A&M University, Howard University, Prairie View A&M University and Texas Southern University) and three United States Service Academies (United States Military Academy, United States Naval Academy and United States Air Force Academy) compete in the stroke-play portion of the competition.
The event will be played on Sept.15 – 16 with two rounds and 36 holes to be played on Monday Sept. 15 and the final 18 holes to be played on Tuesday Sept. 16 . The event will air on the Golf Channel on Monday, Sept. 15 from 4-7 p.m and tuesday, Sept. 16 from 3-6 p.m. Live Scoring and results can be found here.
